Im kinda debating whether or not to take it into sprint, what do u guys think?

I havn't experienced this issue on my Mogul, however, i know a lot of you have had this issue. I suggest taking it to your local sprint corporate store and doing a warranty swap as this seems to be an issue with the lcd in the phone.
I opened my mouth too soon. After having my Mogul for 4 months, I now have this issue... it's gotten worse and worse. I myself might even end up taking my own advice.. shoot.. thanks HTC..

Re: White Spots

I have the same white spots on my mogul as well. Howver I don't think they are bad enough to me to have the phone replaced. My theory on this is that there is something in this spot on the phone that is causing a slight pixel burn. The only way to know for sure though is to take the phone apart. So if anyone has a bricked mogul, can you check?

Re: White Spots

mine had the spots to they semed to form a triangle,
i was thinking maybe three small set screws holding down the virbating motor.
only good thing is they are not that big of an issue when you have them but they make the perfect excude to grab a new phone from sprint.
no questions asked out of the sprint store by me. they just ordered me a new one.
was sad to se my original pocket pc branded device go, but was happy to get a new one and not a refurb.

ps any one with a pocket pc branded one tell me if the IE and message buttons on the top are illuminated. this new one is sobright it makes me think my last one just did not light up.

Re: White Spots

I am on my 3rd Mogul in 6 months. Kept taking it in for the spots and the tech didn't know what they were from. Finally got a tech that said it is from a magnet in that corner of the phone that messes it up. He didn't know of any recalls coming soon but said HTC knows about the problem and will probably put one out. Bottom left corner, same size as everyone's, for some reason my last phone had three. Wouldn't have bothered taking it in for one since I knew it was obviously a screen defect, but 3 spots wasn't working for me.
