Sure, someone did that a long time ago. The issue is that the encryption or login is tied to the phone and that phone isn't a Mogul. I haven't seen any recent activity as far as trying to force it to work so I'd say if you plan on keeping the Mogul, better start liking something else or hope that it's part of the "Q1 2008" update.

You have my full support. Doesn't make any sense to leave this functionality out anymore when the other models get it and when there are no truly comparable third-party free alternatives.
And it doesn't matter that this is a business-class phone. Do you have any idea how heavily IM is used in many businesses today? This is a vital function that I do miss having. It's half the reason I originally wanted a phone with QWERTY and one of the reasons I almost went to Helio for the Ocean. I expected I'd have the same abilities on my Mogul by now, but the available applications simply aren't good enough. |

Whoever said Sprint left IM apps off the Mogul because the Mogul is a "business device" is BS. I have a business and I am constantly IMing customers and cutomers IMing me as well. There is no excuse Sprint can give me as to why they left these programs off the Mogul.

That cab works fine. Just remove the .zip extension and install away. Im using it right now.
I get a warning that i have to have messaging and data on my plan though. I have to add messaging you think? UPDATE: Never mind i keep getting a error that says The MD5 digests do not match (code: 403) when i try to log into any im client. I think sprint wants to charge for data and messaging. Maybe this is why we didnt get this app?
