Jawbone with mogul
I recently purchased one for mine but I had to replace my phone due to an accident I had. However as soon as I got the phone back I tested it with the Jawbone and it works flawlessly. It's definitely the best BT headset i've ever had. So... if you are having problems with your BT headset I'd suggest you give it a try. If it doesn't work well you simply can return it but I'm sure it will.=D>

Jawbone - ditto...
Ditto previous comments on the Jawbone, figured what the heck I'd give it a try. In addition, I had a successful upgrade to 2.16 w/radio 1.47 and have had few problems. Like others the BT does get itself in a pissy mood every once in a while and shuts down just to annoy me but from other comments I've read I may be one of the lucky ones in the upgrade arena. I have had no real fit problems with the Jawbone as some have complained but, the mfg. COULD due to come out with a better ear piece kit. Hey Bose did it for FREE for their in-ear buds. Sound is a bit weak on my end, hard to point to one reason for that. Initially I'll place blame on the handset. (that said, I do have a 9K freq. loss in the ear I usually listen in ...) I have spoken to others while in various environments and I'm told that I am clear on the receiving end. Have left messages to self on various systems, all sounded clear without typical BT clicks and pops.
On rumored information - I have spoken with a tech at Sprint who did his best to put to rest the rumor that they will be discontinuing the Mogul in the near future, they're making too much money on it right now. Can you say "profit center"! Most cell hardware offerings do seem to have limited shelf appeal, we'll see. 2) He wouldn't commit to dates but like another user posted here, there seems to be substance to the ROM update coming earlier than January and it should include Rev.A I'm not going to hold my breath.... |

The one thing that I dislike about forums is the snotty responses that some people give to newcomers. Seems like you would be a little nicer.
"It looks like you decided to click the very first discussion that popped up on your screen and post a question. FYI, not really considered good forum etiquette. You need to read the FAQ first please, "Sticky: PPC-6800/Titan FAQ's - READ BEFORE POSTING! (10/29) - Official ROMs discussion links!", you'll see it on the Titan homepage here. Enjoy your Mogul." |

Blundering headlong into the middle of a thread and asking an off topic question like "hi, I'm new, help me!" is rude and lazy. How hard is it to lurk a bit, browse, search, find the FAQ, etc? |

+1
And PPCGeeks isn't exactly a standard forum. There some pretty advanced people doing some pretty advanced shit on here. Basic forum etiquette not being followed gums up the works....and it's HELLA annoying!

I have seen enough "Beginners Tutorials" on this site now to know that careful attention is given to the fact that there are a lot of ROM Updating Newbies running around here. I, myself, am a newbie to ROM Updating on WM devices, so I appreciate it.
At the same time, I have been working with technology and various chats and forums for 18 years now, and I can tell you that anyone that takes just 30 seconds out of their oh-so-busy day to actually use their brain before posting a question can not only find their answer without posting but avoid pissing off a boat load of people who know what the heck they're doing. |
