lol, yall r funny. ether way you loose in my opinion but I will agree that it depends on your preference, I Currently have the mogul and my girlfriend has the touch, nether is completly better than the other... sprint doesn't currently have a windows mobile phone with all the bells and whistles... the touch is quite smaller and "more fashionable" but lacks a hardware keyboard, wifi, IR beam (infrared), and a camera flash when compared to the The mogul', but the mogul has less RAM which is important because it determines how many programs it can have running at once which is known to cause the mogul to freezes because it runs out of RAM so quickly, and people are known to have problems with the moguls bluetooth, alarm glitches and freezing... but i'v personally never had any of the above issue with the exception of it running low on ram and freezing, and its likely the above issues will be repaired in a future software update, but again with the exception of ram because that's mostly a hardware issue, but again everyone doesn't have these issues. as far as software The operating system is the same... only the touch comes with some pre-installed software that the mogul doesn't, like the touch-flo interface, sprint tv, IM, and ect. some of which can already be ported to the mogul, so I would say you have to decide for your self which is better for YOU, but both have pluses and minuses. but if you want something that would be considered the whole package ether wait until something comes to sprint thats considered a upgrade to the mogul like the "tilt", or switch to at&t which is prolly not a good idea but they currently have the most powerful Windows Mobile Pocket PC sold by a American service provider, which is the "tilt"... its basically the mogul with more ram, 3MP camera, built-in (traditional) GPS and a tilt screen, but at&t is a slower network and pricey compared to sprint which currently has the fastest internet..... you might want to wait for sprint to come out with something better if you want a windows mobile phone that has it all.

I dont notice any syncing problems with video on my Touch in WMP or TCPMP... Interesting.
Anyway, I realize that the device has no wifi but its not really a downside to me. Battery life would be crap with wifi and I am blanketed with EVDO everywhere I go so that is a non-issue for me. Also, data on the Tilt is faster than EVDO provided at&t has HSDPA coverage where you are. However, if you go read, the Tilt has lots of freezing issues much like the Mogul... |

Everything that I have been reading sounds like there are a lot of improvements to the touch from some of the problems that I have had with my mogul. So why does the touch cost less. I know it doesn't have a slide out keyboard, so that should reduce the price some, but its got all that extra ram and I would think that would more than make up the difference. Is there something else I'm missing?

Touch is not (nor is it intended to be) a sustitute for a Titan. They are both good at different things - doesn't make one good and one bad. Like I've said before - I drive my BMW roadster when I want to go fast in summer, and my Ford Explorer when I want to pull a boat or drive in snow. The 2 vehicles are good for different things, neither better than the other in an absolute sense.
I currently have both a Titan and Touch - Titan is a good little computer during the week, and Touch is a nice pocketable phone on the weekend. Both are good at what they're designed to do. (I'll ignore the Titan's dismal lack of BT for the moment) |

I find it funny how people try to make the mogul the touch by putting touch flo and the cube and all the Touch software, trying to take the BT stack from the touch.. installing all these different touchscreen keyboards... and then say, "the mogul has a keyboard and its better then the touch". IF you install touchflo and screen keyboards, you defeat the purpose of having the Qwerty keyboard and the scrollwheel in my opinion.. Have you ever seen someone try to install a hardware keyboard and solder a Wifi card to the touch??? LOL
just for the fact of less freeze ups and working BT... Touch>Mogul anyday all day. Now this is coming from a ex Mogul user and a businessman who uses texting/emailing/instant messaging more then actually calling people. I laughed when someone said the touch doesn't have a infared port and a flash on a camera... its 2007, those things are irrelevant with bluetooth and 7+ megapixel digi cams. Its official, I'm selling the Mogul... I see no purpose in it anymore. LMAO
