Tutorial: USB DUN with "Wireless Modem" app on HTC Mogul

I'm using it right now with the update. Works fine.

I just upgraded to the new ROM and followed these instructions step-by-step - works awesome. I got approx. 1400/400 on the speedtest.net site with this DUN configuration.

Hey electronicrice, your files on the ftp are not showing up. I flashed my mogul with DCD's 3.0.

TaylnONe- thank you for such a great posting. I had data connection loss with both ICS and PDANET. Set this up and was online 4 hrs with fast speed and no connection interruptions. Getting ready to install it on the new ROM. Thanks!

For all of you who have used this tutorial on the new ROMs, did you lose the phone as modem under the connections area as a selection and also did you lose the registry Wmodem DUN?

I seem to have lost these entries or can't see them. Does it work without making those changes.

I have lost my "Phone as Modem" under "manage existing connections" aswell (I upgraded to new ROM). I tried installing this program again without this step and will not connect at all. I just keep getting..."line is busy" can someone please help..i really depend on this.

Thanks for the file! I am having issues with setting up the teethering process. I have been at this for well over four hours. I am stuck in the "Setting up USB Modem driver on the computer" portion. I do not have a shortcut nor a file named "Wireless Modem". I went to my internet settings, and I only have a connection named "Sprint". In my "Internet Sharing" file on my PPC, it has "PC Connection 'USB' and 'Phone as Modem' under Network Connection" options, but I am never able to connect. There is no "Phone as Modem" radio button in my connections. The Sprint connection uses #777 as the dial out code.

I have come so far and spent so much time on this. Please, help me get pass these kinks if possible. I followed everything to a tee through the reg editing.

I lost my Phone as Modem, but my WModem is still there. I'm awaiting help, a hopeful fix!

How did you manage getting this configured after the upgrade? I lost my Phone as Modem option with the new upgrade, so I believe that this kept me from being successful. Also, I do not have a shortcut named "Wireless Modem". Please help if able.
