Rev A will have a significant effect on latency (which is killing perceived speed), as well as upload speeds (300-400kbps vs 1xRTT's 80-100kbps used for Ev-DO Rev 0. Ev-DO Rev 0 only works downsteam; upstream still work over a 1xRTT interface as per the specification), which will help those of us who use the Mogul to tether.

Also, the RevA spec improves theoretical peek download speeds (channel capacity is improved), so, it is within the releam of the feasible, download speeds may improve. Brian |

However, the Mogul could provide navigation through AGPS. It has been hinted that they will enable AGPS to provide navigation through their Telenav service. But nothing official yet...

Well I live in California about 45 mins from LA (with no traffic) I was in LA in Sept. at my cousins house I did a bandwidth speed test on my mogul I got 1.4 mbits / sec. When I'm at home about 45 miles away the speed varys from 400 kb to 680 kb. is it possible that LA already has Rev A or was that just a fluke? I did it 4 times!!!!
