The D-Pad issue (createable if you have the problem by leaving BT on and letting the phone go to sleep - when you wake the phone up the D-Pad doesn't work).

The "freezing" issue (The phone locks up when switching from EVDO to 1-X coverage or roaming - This is quite frustrating).

The BT issues as you mentioned above (BT just randomly turns off - although Audio quality is 1000% better for me now).

Memory and performance seems to be a lot better with the new update (been running since it was released). Hopefully they don't mess that up - we'll see.

I'd recommend reading the thread about the ROM. Actually, people report better memory management and better BT, there are other issues though.

I just started getting the locked up 1x issue yesterday.other thatn that its been ok. I dont think they wil release another update this soon too. If anything maybe Dec. 31st. If they did it, ti owould mean they knew full well they releaeed a flawed update the could have damaged users phones. They could get sued.

Isnt Alltel owned by Sprint or Verizon?

No. When the big carriers buy regional carriers they absorb them and change their name to the parent (at least in the U.S.).

Ok. I thought Alltel was under Verizon in some kind of way. Like Boost is to SprintNextel

Oh ok, I see where you were coming from. The only association that i can think of is that Alltel might have roaming agreements with Sprint and VzW since they are all CDMA carriers.

Cool. Thanks for clearing that up for me

The CSR I talked to said that the updates on HTC's website aren't supported by sprint and to talk to them about it....BS!

It's quite obvious someone screwed up and it very well could be true a fix is coming. It only takes one bit to screw up the phone. Maybe it was just a bad build and what was test isn't what was shipped or something. Could even be a registry change.

Let's hope for the best and it is a treat and not a trick.
