ROMs are not released the exact same date that is showed on your device. That is the date the ROM is finished, then it goes QA, testing, it goes to the provider, etc.

@iwannabeused: That's the ROM that was released last week.

I still think it's a fat chance given that 2.09 never made it there. But who knows... maybe they chose this date to catch up and update their site.

At this point I'm waiting for a custom ROM based on a newer ROM, with a latest radio, and blah blah blah....kinda fixes stuff.

The custom roms are based off of Alltel's which is newer than Sprints AFAIK. And you can have the latest radio, at least on colonel's, by flashing 9.16 then flashing the custom rom.
