Phone Lock Ups After new ROM Update? - Page 5

So what do we think we have here?

A problem with EVDO (which I definetly think is the answer, as my phone earlier today was stuck on 1x for no apparent reason, until I went into Field Test Mode and then it locked up when I clicked on HDR) or X button

Turning off the "Turn off device" after certain minutes ended up not working for me. I just did a hard reset and I am going to leave the phone alone for a while to see what happens. I skipped the Sprint custimization this time instead of letting it go last time. Will let you know what happens

I actually skipped the customizations and still have the lock up issue so its not that.

Well I must say hehe, after six soft resets today wow... I am very impressed with the speed but with bluetooth turning off on its own randomly, and the phone dialer locking up I am quite displeased. HTC/Sprint should give us the roms to beta before releasing public. I pinned the phone dialer lockup to at least my phone when it switches from Edvo to 1x the dialer locks up with the bluetooth gateway open and then I have to soft reset. I think I might downgrade to alltel radio and use the new core.

After the hard reset and sitting idle for an hour, it did not lock up. But i did not move from an Evdo to a 1x network. Will keep you posted.

already tried a hard reset while at my office. It doesn't help. It'll happen in the same locations. In fact, after the hard reset, it didn't stay on long enough to even get to the today screen before freezing!

so, its not the third party stuff... I'm telling you guys, i'm pretty sure this all Radio related. I can't fully test until tomorrow, but downgrading the radio rom might help a lot...

I also downgraded to 1.4 and I'm testing.

Yesterday the phone locked up about 3 times for no real reason at all. I'm in an all EVDO area as well.
