I did this last night and I'm wondering if this is what has caused my problems. Do a custom restore and unchecK system data. This will restores your contacts but not your programs.

You can't. It is best to reinstall everything. You can use SPB to backup your PIM data and your My Documents folder.

Thanks man!!! That makes since. I would have never put "2&2" together.

I'm having a few problems. It seems my memory leak issue was not corrected. Last night before I reinstalled my programs, I had 24mb of memory. Today I'm down to 9mb. I installed the ROM last night and then I restored alll of my programs and contacts with SPB backup. Well, it restored me back to ROM 2.09. So I reinstalled the new ROM again and everything seemed ok, but its now I'm using more space and memory with less programs installed then I had before.

Any Ideas??????

Also I use Resco Ex. 2007 with Registry Edit and Resco Photo Viewer. Is there a way to get rid of the Sprint File Explr. , Reg Edit, and Pictures/Videos programs?

??????? Think I should resintall?

All the benefits without the bloat-ware.
Can anyone else confirm this? The standard soft reset during screen align pre extRom causes issues? Im not sure what method he is talking about here. I havent dont many of these bypasses.

What Hi is saying is do a Full ROM installation because in the Extended ROM could be some settings installs (who knows?, but doesn't hurt nothing) and then do a new hard reset and a soft reset before the extended ROM like normally....for me make a little sense the idea and like I said nothing will be hurt doing this......

OK, I've installed the new ROM and have spent most of the afternoon reinstalling my software. So far, I've encountered only one problem - when I run the HHC program, it offers to load the HTC Home plugin (as expected), but then reports "Plugin Not Found". Has anyone else seen/solved this one?

I seem to have connectivity - IE is able to access various sites successfully. WiFi is working. So that's not the problem.

Edit: I just tracked it down and installed it separately. Seems to be working correctly this way, though the auto-download is supposed to work.
