This was just discussed on the last page. You will need to copy a CPL file for the audio parameters if you want the voice command software to work.

Also, Sprint Music Store may not work. At least it didn't when done after the last ROM, I don't know about this one though.
Is that the only necessary thing I lose?

Those are the only 2 I have heard/read about. But remember this is a new ROM and a new customization script, so they may have added something there that has not been reported yet.

However, I have read a couple of posts and people skipped the customization with no issues afterwards... besides the missing CPL file.

Are you sure it's not because it defaults to the sensor being on after the update? Have you tried it in a dark room? Or have you tried turning on the option to have them always on?

Maybe that option is now off as a default of the new ROM?

Umm... here's a wild suggestion... doing a ROM install wipes out all your settings... did you go back into the system settings to enable the keyboard light when it's slid out?

Hard reset and try again? After all, the update was gonna wipe out the device anyway.

you can hard reset it like the 6700. hold the 2 soft keys on the front of the phone while pressing the reset button at the bottom.

For a hard reset hold down the two buttons at the bottom with the white dots and hit push in the reset button on the bottom at the same time. Then hit whatever it tells you to push for yes.
