How to Disable Initial Password Screen
I was stupid enough that when I hardware reset the phone, the new WM6 OS asked if I wanted to lock the phone down everytime with a password, I said yes. Now everytime it asks me that password when I turn on the screen to do something, that is so annoying!!
I went through the settings menu but I don't see anywhere to disable it. Would somebody for the love of mike shed some light on this subject?! Yes I'm a moronic noob. Thanks in advance.

Start -> Settings -> Lock (looks like a key, and it's on the "personal" tab) From there just uncheck the "prompt if device unused for" checkbox

why do you need to do this via the registry rather than the method i stated? also just not entering a password during initial setup after a hard reset will disable it.
