Re: Battery Cover
Well I guess every single htc phone I've owned had this problem. There are DIYs on the forum about using painters tape to fix the problem. It works. The cover seems to expand and somewhat warp overtime.

Re: Battery Cover
I got my Imagio replaced because the face housing actually cracked, connect the dots style, from where it meets the screen above the Verizon logo, all the way up to the divot on the battery cover. It was a very fine, hairline crack, but once I noticed it it was all I could look at. Two days after I replaced mine with a Touch Pro 2, my friends Imagio did the same thing. I reccomend you guys keep a close eye on it, you may not even notice it unless in the right light, but it happens where the dots on the face are actually hollow where the earpiece speaker is. I wish I had taken a picture of it, but here is an artist's rendition of said crack, highlighted for emphasis...

Re: Battery Cover
Rub a little oil from your face on the edges of the cover with it off. Rub it all around. Put it back on and the creaks will be gone. The plastic is dry and creaky and a little face oil lubing it up works. I know it sounds hoky but it works. It's the same reason the screens feel sticky the first day. The plastic is dry until the oil from your fingers gets into the pores of the screen overlay.

Re: Battery Cover
I've had 2 covers that creaked. It seems that after a little use that start to do that. What I noticed is there is ever so slight a space from the back cover to the batter and phone frame. I cut down SMALL piece of card stock that i put in this gap that was causing the creak. Worked great no more creaks.
