Has anybody tried WMLongLife over at XDA? It is a program that forces your phone into either 1x or EVDO. It works great for me and I am on Verizon. Here's a link:

The reason I asked is there is and always has been a bug in direct push/exchange heartbeats that when it switches to 1x and sometimes doesn't switch back till you turn off direct push. I was trying to rule this out for the imagio 1x issue as I have no issues with mine getting stuck in 1x with the exception of the direct push 1x issue rarely.

I also have the 1X problem -- sticks in 1X even when back in 3G area. Here's two images I got from FieldTest (##33284). One is when stuck in 1X, the other when I was able to get back to 3G temporarily -- same location in my home. I've sent them to Verizon. If there's anyone here who can interpret the data and get any insight from it, please let us know.

Any further news on this issue from Kevin? I just emailed him myself.
I mentioned it to tech support when I called about getting a replacement battery (see other thread). The guy I talked to tried 3 phones while I was on the phone, and said they all did that. He also said it's not listed as a "known issue", so that must be the way it's supposed to work. I had already been on the phone with them for 1/2 hour, so I didn't have time to push it any further. Just curious if anyone has had any success. (*228 and soft resetting has done nothing for me). |

Not me. Verizon customer w/ Verizon phone. All calls still go to 1x. No response from the Verizon guy.

I am still having the issues, I emailed Kevin and never got a response. I have called many times, they even sent me another Imagio to try. Nothing fixes it at all. They now are saying I can switch phones but they dont have anything that is comparable to this. They mentioned the Omnia II on the 2nd.
I am so pissed about this issue and I have an email to raise a fromal complaint. Mike |

Im having the same issue as well and I am an alltel convert lol. I have the verizon version of the TP2 and i will be emailing that gent at vzw about my tp2....
