I dont know how, but HTC denies that the issue exists. I emailed tech support and they said it doesn't happen for them, so therefore it must a problem with my individual phone and I should do a hardware reset. I pointed out a thread where 60% of TP2 users had the issue, and they still said it wasn't an issue.
Their response:
"I understand how frustrating it can be when your device doesn't function properly. As difficult as it may be to believe I have verified that none of the Touch Pro 2 or Imagio users here have experienced this issue. I have forwarded this concern for further review, but at this time we have not been able to replicate the issue using multiple devices. Please ensure that you hard reset your device, update the phone using *228 and leave the phone it's stock configuration. If you continue to experience this issue please let me know. "
