Re: Imagio Battery Life??

Just an update... this morning it started happening again, I unplugged it when I woke up and 2 hours later the battery was already down to 70%. I charged it up in my car on the way to school, reset it, and after that the battery was fine, it's down to 90% after the entire day.

This leads me to believe it's definitely something running in the memory... but I really think we shouldn't have to soft reset our phones once a day.

Re: Imagio Battery Life??

I think sometimes when we are in places where signals are not strong, the battery uses up more quickly because it's searching for signal. I used up almost 50% of the battery for a one and half hour meeting in the basement of my building. The battery drain could also relate to the data transmission on your phone, as I discover. If you have set up sync with your company's server, and depending how you set it, the phone might uses more power than usual. Currently, I have tried to shut down all unnecessary connections, such as bluetooth, wifi where not used.

That said, I am not quite impressed by the battery either. They should do a better job!

Re: Imagio Battery Life??

I'm really struggling with the battery life to. Its very intermitent, not using it at all one day it loses 10% and hour and another day 10% per 4 hours. Its very frustrating for me I guess I should call Verizon I'm thinking there is something wrong with this phone.

How is your reception? As people have said that makes a big difference.

i gotta admit, battery life is not bad at all. im at 50% since 2am. its now almost 6pm. about 60 min in phone calls in and out, about 35 SMS, and about 30 min total on web. backlight was also set to auto when sun came up so i can see the friggin screen. i also used google maps once.

Thats because i read somewhere that USB and car charges only trickle charge. They are really designed to hold you over till you get to your AC charger. Only the AC adapter can truly fully charge your phone the way its suppose charge
