Re: Manila Sense 2.1 / 2.5 *Updated Feb 23, 2010*

I'm such a sucker! Despite terrible luck with the previous versions of Sense 2.5 I'm going to give this one a shot. Am I seeing this correctly? The 2012 build is only 37.6MB?

Good luck bro! The compressed cab is 37.6MB and uncompressed it is about 86MB. I compressed it to speed up download speeds. It will take about 30 min to install.

**EDIT** maxtcee beat me to it!

Re: Manila Sense 2.1 / 2.5 *Updated Feb 23, 2010*

Liken' the new look of this site!!

Tried the new cab on the first page - worked fine for the first 12 hours or so.. unfortunately slowed down quite a bit afterwards. I noticed when adding any shortcuts to the home page (installed to main mem or storage), it seems to chog the entire speed of the interface. Re-hard reseted back to megapinky's cab on page 63.... so far, this works the fastest, no bugs, no freezing etc., - just missing the documents and reader tabs....adjust the registry for other settings (lock and screen rotate) and good to go....seems as though we're only days away from some tasty kitchen cooking.

Re: Manila Sense 2.1 / 2.5 *Updated Feb 23, 2010*

Thanks fellas. It's installed and running great so far. The real test is the first time I have to soft reset. It's always run pretty well until the first softie and then it boots to an unresponsive black screen. I guess we'll see. GREAT WORK to all of you who've made Sense 2.5 your baby. I'm grateful and very impressed!

Re: Manila Sense 2.1 / 2.5 *Updated Feb 23, 2010*

Hello everybody,

i´am serching a long time for a complete rom or a compete sense-version for Toshiba TG01. The only one i found is some test here, some tests there. One it works to other not (like me). i followed up all the steps, sense start not up after boot. i´ve to go in the windows folder and start "manila" manually.

Is there any any 1-cab-solution !?

Cool Re: Manila Sense 2.1 / 2.5 *Updated Feb 23, 2010*

Ok first major issue. ive been using manilla 2.5.2012 for about a week now. Ive got the latest one installed. yesterday i made a phone call. after hanging up the phone made a weird sound then froze. upon soft reset i got the "black screen of death" asking me to press volume down for hard reset or any other button to skip. i pressed another button. the phone attempted to boot but ask me the security question at the botton as it tried to start every service. it then kept looping with the"launching htc sense " screen over and over. after multiple soft resets i was forced to do a hard reset. no clue what happened.

2cd issue. Unlike alot of people i have never had an issue with sending/receiving SMS/MMS. But i have had an issue with phone reverting back to using htc messaging when it feels like it. As we all know the built in htc messaging causes problems and lag with this sense build. is there a way to manually shut this off? i have the sms provided built in patch in my start-up but im not sure how this is

Re: Manila Sense 2.1 / 2.5 *Updated Feb 23, 2010*

Well looks like it finally happened to me, Sense 2.0.2012 has been running beautifully but to my surprise I attempted to install and run IGO 8 GPS and the application would not run, all I got was the wait cursor but software wont open program, has ran perfectly on all previous builds....

Any suggestions?
