I use total commander and go into Main Memory\Program Files and delete any folders related to Verizon stuff. VVM and modclient might be the slightly less than obvious ones. I also deleted Windows Media Player because I don't use it and never have. Saves a TON of space.

anyone know how to fix the mms issue via total commander? the mms fix cab isn't working.....

I deleted the registry keys that start up that service so it saves some RAM. Instructions are in the thread about deleting the little TV icon at the top.

Works great, just not fast enough for prime time yet. But still a great effort by megapinky. I simply want the people/contacts tab from 2.5. megapinky, if you get a free second or two, if you could make an update to put that tab into 2.1 that would be great.

I installed everything exactly at directed in post one but still have no Start menu or Windows button functionality, which also means I have no soft Lock access. Is there a solution for this now?

ok so i just installed this on top of the new 3 version rom... everything seems to be ok except the tab screen onthe bottom over the phone above is slow to respond. I went to text messages and click all messages and it doesnt show me the messages that were there previously. but on the main pop up i see 1 of 25 messages viewable.....

Oh yes and i have the swype cab and it's not running anymore the keyboard tries to load (installation went fine) but it shows the regular keyboard instead of the swype... can anyone help?
