Well I got 2.5 installed and running well so I decided to install a new menu bar specifically for 2.5 (yes, I made sure damn it). Since then I've pulled the battery no fewer than 15 times and I can't get it to load Sense again. LOVE the reliability. Any suggestions?

The download link is in the new 3.04 rom thread , page 18 , post # 177 in Imagio upgrades.

The pdaphone vzw upgrade has extra files connected to the mobile tv app,
some kind of upgrade file for it. The rom seems a little smoother with Sense 2.1. Seems to work better with the fix cabs. Haven't tried 2.5 yet , got to stop now and shovel some snow. Check 2,5 compatibility tomorrow or Sunday.

EDIT: Also has some search enhancement files / mac os Safari search compatibility. Have not tried safari yet.

I've been doing some pretty extensive research on the location weather problem. I think we need to install the 2011 versions of HTC GeoService and GoogleLocationService. Everything I've found has been cooked into ROMs by various chefs, and I'm currently talking to Rootlinux about a fix he loaded on to his ROMs. If anyone can find the two things I mentioned in CAB form, we might be good to go. If Rootlinux is able to get his fix into CAB form, we might also have a fix. Or, more likely, we'll have to wait for the HardSPL. The dependencies on this simple glitch we have are pretty complex.

If you have the files or can point me in the direction, I can make a cab to test, if not, I will do some research on them later tonight.

Topaz Rom has

HTCGeoService 1.0.19213626.00
GoogleLocationService 1.0.1.21R1

and Imagio New Rom has

HTCGeoService 1.0.19191224.00
GoogleLocationService 1.0.1.21

is this what you need?

My understanding is that we need a version of those somewhere along the lines of 1_0_2011xxxxx.

Edit: As for the GoogleLocationService, I'm not really sure what version is needed. I guess we'd have to look at a newer custom ROM with Sense 2.5.2011 integrated to see what version of these things they're using.
