Re: Manila Sense 2.1 / 2.5 *Updated Feb 3, 2010*
There are only nine app links on the home screen. I believe there is a cab that has 16 links on it somewhere in this thread.

Re: Manila Sense 2.1 / 2.5 *Updated Feb 3, 2010*
I took two excursions into Sense 2.5 with the 3.04 ROM and I'm sorry to say that after fooling around with it for a few days, I've reverted back to 2.0.
I don't have anything new to report with respect to bugs and such - I've seen the same things many of you all have reported - with maybe a few more nusiances. Things like after replying to a text using the HTC interface, my text entry box gets all jumbled looking and I can't enter text into it. I didn't like how if I return to the home screen after being on another tab even for a minute, my clock time seems to have digressed and flips like mad to catch up. Bottom line for me is after getting a taste of 2.5 I want it real bad. After being able to play with it the whole look and function is really a step up from 2.0 - I just can't get the interface to respond the way I want it to . . . it almost feels like I just don't have the confidence it's not going to bomb out on me at the worst possible time. So I'm going to shower this thread with thanks and and stay put with 2.0 for a little while longer. |

Re: Manila Sense 2.1 / 2.5 *Updated Feb 3, 2010*
yeah thats why i told you to delete the tf3d in reg edit that way if you just hard key your rotate you can choose when you want to rotate or not
then again you can delete the audio player in the reg edit and that wont auto rotate |

Re: Manila Sense 2.1 / 2.5 *Updated Feb 3, 2010*
Hey everyone you really wont believe this but I think I have identified the possible nature of the lagging issue with Sense 2.5 installation, in the attempt to resolve a little bug it may have lead me to our issue...
Can someone give this a try and verify my findings... 1. Disable Sense UI 2. Browse to HKCU\SOFTWARE\HTC\MANILA\ 3. Change - Manila://music.page.hidden DWORD: from 0 to 1 4. Restart Sense UI This will disable the Music Tab from Sense UI but it should increase boot and response time (Without Tecksoft Speedboost), after disabling this I notice all lags was gone. Appears that the music search feature was occupying resources and ram.. My ram increased also. Attached cab for anyone that doesn't know how to use registry editor..
