Wanted to ask you a question , is there any weather animatiom on 2.1 other than when you boot up the first time and the clouds go all over the today screen ?

For anyone that has tried the Coinflipper 3.04 rom, have you noticed a difference? Is it worth it?

You're welcome, although I am merely just a distributor, all credit goes out the the geniuses putting them together. To be honest, I only used 2.1 for a short while and only saw the full screen weather once. I'm sure there is a way to get it to show more often, but I didn't spend enough time with it. Hopefully somebody who stayed with it longer can help out. I'm sorry, but I am not much help on this one.

I figured it was a one time deal , I can live without it to have the speed and no memory leak. Thanks anyway.

The 3.04 ROM plus 2.5 is AWESOME ... memory management is much better and overall much smoother. Well worth the effort.

jb 2.1 has weather animations every time you click the task manager on the top right or update it will sho animations hope this answers your question

well, gave this a shot today, did a hard reset on the base OS that comes with the phone, then loaded Sense 2.5. Everything went well, some parts of 2.5 are very laggy. Wasnt able to get SMS to work at all.

From there, I flashed the phone to the 3.04 ROM that Conflipper posted, and the phone boots up what seems to be faster. Also, with 2.5 now loaded, I am able to use the WM SMS, but when using the Manila SMS, Manila crashes and needs to be reloaded.

Major props to those who are working on this.

Things I have noticed:
- reloading Sense 2.5 is REALLY slow. sometimes around 2-3 minutes.
- Movement around the contacts section is slow at times

I am going to give this a shot for a few days, and see how it works for daily use. Am very impressed and eager to see the MMS/SMS issue fixed.

Also, have not had a chance to play with the GPS lock, but hope this does get fixed soon, or the HardSPL.
