it is slow when going to the contacts page. by the way what happened to the flip contacts? also slow when going from page to page. sorry I am new at this . may be thats why.

Arrgh!! Still cannot receive MMS. Sending works fine. I'm now using the latest build but still no luck. I like this build and everything else is just great, but I have to be able to receive MMS for my business.

Just an aside...noticed that while on the text tab, every text reply to every thread is showing, scrollable and counting whereas on stock, it only showed the last reply and you had to actually go into the thread to see the whole conversation. No biggie, though.

Going to hard reset back to stock and make sure there is no problem with the latest official ROM or my phone itself.

EDIT: Just now noticed that the phone does wake up when an MMS is sent to me from another person as if it is going to receive something, just nothing actually arrives. Hmmm...

Jmart I was using your cab and I liked it a lot the only reason why I changed it it was always locking up on my device and shooting my memory to over 80% all the time. I liked all the features it had though. If you have a way or know how to keep the memory low I would appreciate it.

Flip contacts are in 2.0, they changed it up for 2.5. It doesn't look as cool, but it is way more functional. Not sure why it is going so slow for you, it feels pretty fast on my device about as fast as 2.0.

I'm sorry to hear that it was giving you trouble. The high memory is a result of the increased speed. It should idle in the low 60s, but when you are running a bunch of stuff it will definitely get up there. It shouldn't really matter unless you are running a bunch of memory hog programs at the same time, this may cause lockups.
All of this will go away once we get unlocked and custom roms with 2.5 become available. This is merely a taste of 2.5, that actually has become much more functional than I ever expected.

Can't send or receive text either. Maybe my settings are wrong also has the latest build of 2.5 2012.

OK, this may be a bit long but here is where I am.

Hard reset back to stock with VZW official latest ROM, and mms works perfect both ways.

Install latest 2.5 2012 build and I get the following notification:

Zenyee Messaging Setup
HTC messaging disabled successfully. Uninstall this application if you would like to restate HTC messaging in the future.

When I hit OK, I get the following:

Zenyee Messaging Setup
Do you want to restart the device to activate changes? Y or N

Doesn't matter what I do...tried saying yes, mms receive does not work. Did another hard reset and this time tried saying no, again, mms receive does not work. Tried uninstalling Zenyee and that didn't do it either.

Am I the only one still having problems receiving mms? Everything else is cool, little bugs and all. Thanks to all who are working so hard on this.

just say yes and it will reboot and then use wm messaging

Been there, done that...phone wakes up when someone tries sending me a pic but nothing ever actually arrives.
