And the hard reset, does that remove everything and return phone to factory setting? I really don't want to do that. I did use the MyPhone program to back everything up. if hard reset does erase everything, I could use that to recover the data, if I have to.

You phone comes with .NET CF 2.0 . .NET CF .3.5 is an option you have to install.
If you want to see if 3.5 is on your phone go to settings/system/remove programs. In remove programs the will be a list on installed programs , if it is on your phone it should be listed there. If you want to check your registry
for 3.5 , go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/MICROSOFT/.NETcompactFramework

Yes and no, I haven't really looked into it with this build, but I did build a cab for the latest version 2.5 2012.1412 and it is working. I didn't release it because it has a little more lag than the one we have now (not by much though) and I also thought we would be able to play with some cooked ROMs.

Hey Jmart, do you mind posting your HKLM/Software/HTC/Manila/configuration folder. I was playing with the registry and munked up that folder. Thank you in advance.

No prob! Yeah, I have one all cooked up, I just need to test it (this is my first ROM using the new kitchen). The suspense is killing me!
