No prob. I know how frustrating this stuff can be bc i am trying to figure it all out too. Like, i said, i was doing the exact same thing you were- and then i accidentally clicked on the folder instead of the plus sign and- bingo.

Shoot- i am such a noob- i kept searching for "HKLM" and i was like, "Man, i don't know what is going on, but i do not have any "HKLM" anywhere.

EDIT: Just found it. Start camera then click Show Nav - Capture Mode. Picture theme is one of the options there. Just select one of the other capture modes like "picture". That should do it.
No, the question was which of the P1-P10 settings will disable the option to have the "Picture Themes" appear.

Oh, I understand now. I've never seen any reference that tells you which default-enabled mode is which but looking at the menu of options, the four new one's P-values line up to where they show up in the menu - i.e. burst = P6 = the 6th menu option; Sports = P8 = the 8th menu option; etc. Based on that, I'd set P7 = 0 (theme is the 7th) and soft reset.

If not, trial and error the others.

P7 was it. Thanks. No need for a soft reset.

The regedits should enable the "Record" option under the phone's 'menu' menu that's visible AFTER you connect a call. Once you're on a call and you select it, you'll hear a tone indicating that recording has begun - another one either at the end of the call or when you select 'stop recording' from the menu.

The recordings are put in \My Documents\Notes on the device.
