Question Vibrate while dialing

Hello all. I'm sure it's been asked, but I can't find it anywhere. Is there a way to disable or stop the Hero from vibrating when I am dialing a number? I have looked around the setiings and can't figure it out. I find it annoying to press a button and have it vibrate. Many thanks.

Re: Vibrate while dialing

As far as I know, you either have it vibrate, or beep. No silent choice for the dialer.

Re: Vibrate while dialing

Someone had a way to turn it off but I can't remember it.

To turn off sounds it is in settings sounds and notifications

Re: Vibrate while dialing

I don't know of any fix for the dialer vibrate. I put a few hours in to trying to find the source after the MR came out (that's when it started vibrating) but I wasn't able to find it. It's buried somewhere in the lib or framework. It's not as easy as swapping out an apk. It's still on my "to do" list though.

Thanks for the help everyone. I guess I'll just have to get used to it.
