Re: Sprint update . . . . post your results here please.

After my update the 100% awake issue remained so I endured another hard reset. That, of course, is when I noticed the now infamous Market App issue but I had backed up my apps with MyBackup Pro. However when I used the backup to restore the apps I first noticed that MyBackup Pro didn't back up all of my apps (especially the ones I purchased) and of course these weren't listed in my downloads on the market. Second thing I noticed is that before I restored both my apps and the data from MyBackup Pro, after my hard reset the 100% awake issue was solved. But after the restore process the 100% awake time returned. So I enjoyed another hard reset but this time I just grabbed my apps from the market manually and the phone sleeps beautifully. I have definitely noticed improved battery performance from this as well.

Personally I haven't noticed in improvement in performance. It still has the occasional lag switching home screens and apps. And the horrible lag I get when downloading and installing apps from the market is still there albeit only for a minute or so. There's also some fairly hefty lag when I get notifications if I'm in the middle of something on the phone but again no more than before the update.

I was able to to restore most of my paid apps in different ways. WeatherBug Elite still remains inaccessable in the market for me however I found an attached copy of the .apk file online so I just downloaded that. (risky I know). I've little doubt that Google is aware of the market problem and they'll fix it.

Other than that the phone is performing normal and I'm satisfied. I know it's a small thing but I also love the speaker phone and mute buttons on the phone screen. I hate to say it but I bet we're all in for some serious turbulence when the 2.0 update rolls out. But I'm already prepared for an evening of hard resets and profanity.

Just figured out you can zoom in and out of pictures when setting your wallpaper, so you can crop them to fit right on the phone. I don't know if that was there before, but it's awesome!
