ok cool, so one more question because I dont want to take up the whole thread talking about stuff that may be posted else where on here but what other benefit is there to rooting besides being able to flash? Like after I root what can I do to my phone?

Tethering, Screenshots, moving cache of programs to sd, putting apps on sd card (I don't), and a few more, but those are my faves.
