Re: Rooting
Hi All-
I have been tring to get my Sprint Hero rooted for the past week without success. I have tried the command prompt way...I get to the: /data/local/asroot2 /system/bin/sh command and it reads: file not found Everything prior to that works fine. Any thoughts? I have tried the Flashrec methood and all is fine until it is time to get to recover mode. I get the white screen unstead of the black screen. I have tried to boot using - volume down and power - and the phone hangs on the HTC logo start up. I have jailbroken/unlocked IPhones and flashed custom ROMs on my old HTC Touch Diamond. For the life of me I cannot get this phone rooted! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Scott |

Then push the recovery image to storage card again Than flash it again with CMD So you are basically starting over after you format the SD Card

Re: Rooting
Yea, I found the other way to be pretty easy after I got the drivers done. I like the way you posted, but I am used to the other one haha. I might link your 10 steps you had somewhere with that video on my tips thread when I get a chance. You put it somewhere, neway it was a good one. Put that in your sig.
