I had to say good bye to my fair and flexible plan I've had forever. Got a better deal for our business by using the family share simply everything plan with 1500 mins. With sprints anyone anytime deal that leaves us with basically 1500 land line minutes. Huge savings with this deal =D |

all the newer headsets will require you to get off the legacy plans every data 450, 900 and simply everything for individuals everydata share 1500, 300 and simply everything for family plans the hero, moment, pre, BB(though you can kinda get away with it but the BB data pack addon is hella expensive), pixi, instinct, instinct s30 and instinct hd all require one of those 6 plans

Re: Hero Plan rumors?
because they are employee plans...and those will probably go away as well as sprint corp is creating new soc codes to accomodate the new pricing strategy
the issue is this...if sprint gives you a highly subsidized phone (500 retail but you get it for 100) they have to get that money back, invest it in the network, better phone lineup, pay off debt, spend more money on customer service, and maintain your service etc etc...you have to be locked into a 2 yr agreement and you have to be on a plan thats going to bring in more money... its why iphone plans are so expensive...why most other carriers require you to have a Blackberry addon plan etc etc... it sux...but its a necessary evil |

There are 4 types of cheaper plans other than the Simply Everything that will work with the hero, pre, similar phones. Sprint employee, Advantage line plan, store demo phone plan and the 3rd party dealer plan. There are no exceptions, the system store employees and customer support uses requires to change the plan as soon as the esn is entered, otherwise it wont let the user save the changes. So yes be very careful when a telesales rep says that it will work yada yada, cause he/she is lying to get the sale, as for the store rep he/she cant let you leave the store without paying for the phone which has to be activated before you leave, which in turn requires plan change. |
