And to quiqnezz's point, I do notice some slowness when loading pages sometimes.

Was there a way to tell if you were on Rev A, or Rev 0 with WM?

im not sure where i posted this info but looks like it isnt here, after you buy a app\game, you can "return" it within 24hrs. may help some people.

so is there any consistency that we know of as to whether or not this thing has rev.A or not? such as "with google" branding or not? i'm just wondering b/c i'll be getting one this afternoon and i'd like to not get the shaft

Just check it in the settings before you take it home if you're that worried about. I'm sure there will be an update soon to fix this issue. I'm going to have them update to 1.6 at the corporate store today to see if that helps or ask them what the deal is.

true but i also have the tendecy to be paranoid before i get there so i'm wondering if i ask for a trade if they would, id just like to not have to worry about it

F that, it's your money your phone. Tell them to give you another or see if they can fix it. I'm heading to he corporate store right now to meet with the wife and bro in law as he is picking one up too.

Gonna see if they can upgrade me to 1.6 and deal with the rev.0 issue. I'll let you know what happened when I get back.

i went to 2 sprint stores and they are not in stock for up to two more weeks yet. they don't even have all of the info ready.

So just got back from the corporate sprint store and they are busy. Saw like 3 people walking out with Hero's haha. The gel cases for the Hero that were sold out on Friday when I bought mine, which they just got a new shipment in this morning are all sold out. So umm yeah they are moving like hotcakes.

So as far as 1.6 they told me there was no udpate from sprint for it yet and that it would be available OTA when it is. I asked them if there was anyway to just install the newest android to the Hero or if it had to be specifically optimized for the Hero and he said the latter. And as far as the rev.0 issue he said from what I gather that it switches when you're downloading or updloading?? Didn't make sense to me and since I didn't know much about it as well as the phone I couldn't really argue with him. So I guess i'll just be checking the web and these forums to see what the issues are with that.
