Re: HTC Hero on its way to Sprint! Confirmed!
Engadget reports that "If you're within an EV-DO Rev. A area, you'll get Rev. A speeds -- despite that fact that your phone says it's only on Rev. 0"

I'm a Gmail junkie, so I didn't have to do anything but put in my username/password.

If there are any Google Reader fans reading this, check out the mobile version of the site. Its so much better then the one they send Opera users to.

Re: HTC Hero on its way to Sprint! Confirmed!
If it's like the gmail client, then yes. But I'm not sure, as I haven't set any other email accounts up on the phone. It will only take a min or two to setup, and you could find out really quickly.

Re: HTC Hero on its way to Sprint! Confirmed!
I just tested this with one of my other internet based email accounts. It is a push email, but it's pushed based on the refresh criteria you set. The shortest push interval is 15 mins. It's not immediate, like you would get with a gmail based account, unless you forward your hotmail to a gmail account, and then you are good to go.
