Re: HTC Hero on its way to Sprint! Confirmed!
I have a Gmail account and I will sign-in using it. I just don't want to select Google as my sync source - NO SYNCING WITH GOOGLE APPS!

So, can you test to see if you can activate and use the voice command application thru a bluetooth headset without touching the phone.

i'll add it to my list, but i'm sure that's also dependent on the headset and i'd be using a jawbone so even if mine does the average headset might not

1. If currently syncing locally with Outlook and want to continue local syncing with Outlook on the Hero, then select your sync source as Outlook from the settings menu and use the HTC HotSync app to sync. 2. If currently using Exchange and want to continue to use Exchange, then select your sync source as Exchange and setup your Exchange account on the Hero. 3. If you want to use the Google PIM apps on the Hero, then I don't know. I didn't research how to sync and use the Google PIM apps, because I don't plan to use them. |

Re: HTC Hero on its way to Sprint! Confirmed!
very good info but there's a 4th way i intend to use, although its kind of brutal, but i'm also coming from the Pre
4. I intend to move every contact from my Pre by hand, tedious but that way i get practice and familiar with not having a physical keyboard and i'll also test several of the available android keyboards in the process |
