What's the Wal-Mart tower rumor?

It's rumored that within the next year all Wal-Mart sites will have a reception tower atop of them. Just a rumor but the cost and thought if its practical kicks the whole scheme out of the window..Here where I live there are literally two Walmarts within 3 miles

Exactly, it was just a rumor. Dealing with Sprint I highly doubt it.

On another note. No, if you get a 4G tower in an area without 3G, you will only have 4G. Any 4G device can "fall-up" which means go from 3G to 4G, but no device can "fall down" from 4G to 3G. Meaning 4G can't enable 3G.

Exactly! & also 2.1 is what Eclar right,Isn't Flan out & ginger on the way too. All i saying is at the rate that google is going with their updates...this is going to look like ...well 1.5.Most of all the apps have left to go to 1.6,2.0.1 etc.I hope the "hero2" or what ever sprint decides to govern as the replacement phone will be faster with being up to date with googles New Rom Rate.

heh, well it would have been nice if Sprint wouldn't slap the 4g logo on their commercials that had the hero in it, or any of the other phones advertised in those commercials. Sends out mixed signals that excite the would be's and the naive.

oh well, i can dream right?
