I think there needs to be a date in the first place for it to be pushed back ;)

This is about the most official response we've ever got. I personally welcome our new cryptic blurry screenshot posting of vague timeframe overlords.

its not pushed back, its still on track for the "early Q2" period sprint mentioned a while back.

Looks like my original guess of before May 15th is looking more and more like the actual release date. :)

I could care less for 2.1 now, im getting myself an HTC EVO 4G when it comes out.

agreed, it was never really pushed up... never gave us a due date. I'm personally cashing out already, had my fun with Windows mobile, going to list my last TP2 for sale and list my hero on c-list as well till the Evo comes out, I love android. bought the hero mainly to get a taste of android once more ;)

$10 says they release it around the same time they release pricing/release date of the Evo.

Pushed back? It didn't get pushed back. Early May is still "Early Q2" I suppose, since it's the first half of Q2.

I don't care, I already have 2.1. Who cares it if it's not official, everything works and chances are the stock won't have any differences.
