Help me keep my Hero..... - Page 4

Well, I've flashed to the 1.1 ROM and so far it seems a little faster. Keyboard lag is still here, and I really doubt it will ever go away (even with the official 2.1 update). After CES, ill know whatboth phones are capable I guess.

without reading this whole thread heres my opinion on the topic. The Pre's Hardware is better no doubt. but the Pre is not Screaming fast either.(YET!) the hero as of now seems it has a lot going for it. better apps. i can do more on my hero. now i still carry my Pre with me in my car for certain things. its camera is way faster. but no video? cant do it mannnn... hero is solid and i can type just as fast on it as i do on my pre. multitasking isnt really that hard on the Hero(not as convenient though) i have my hero kinda setu like the iphone. all my apps i use everyday are on there. got rid of most widgets.

the Pre has the most potential for growth so im keeping it around and will eventually go back to it. in ur situation it sounds like the Pre is the better of the two though.

im running stock and the only time i ever experience any keyboard lag is when a text is coming through or when Last.fm is switching songs. other then that i can type pretty dang fast.
