BTW nice article.

I know that when we were first battling the awake time issue when the phone very first came out, Advanced Task Killer was one that a lot of people had issues with keeping their phone at 100%. But you may end up having to go extreme and go all the way back to stock and then slowly start reinstalling your apps. 100% awake time is draining your battery way too fast. I stay around 15%. Anything below 100 shows that it's sleeping properly. I need to do a write up on explaining awake time too I think. ha.

I am assuming that you have the Sprint 1.56 software version at least which fixed an awake issue with SMS sent.

Actually I was using Advanced Task Killer but I just now (about 1 hour ago) removed it. I am though still using using 100% so I think that I will have to go back to stock and remove all of the apps that I have installed.

Yes I am currently running Sprint 1.56 software version.

Re: battery life

Check some of you widgets and background programs. I found some of them were killing my battery. The newsroom app is an energy hog if you leave the background notifications on. I had problems with the ESPN News widget as well. Once I removed the ESPN widget and shut off the notifications on NewsRoom I have been getting great battery life. Went 18 hours yesterday with decent usage before I got a low battery alert.

So it's not an awake issue. Try disabling all 3 location options for a day and see if it helps.
