My MMS doesn't seem to work at all. They all get stuck in the Outbox.

T-Mobile or Cingular? If Cingular, did you try my settings on pg 1 of this thread?

Cingular. And yes, I have used those setting. I am not sure why it doesn't work.

Please note that there is a COLON in the MMS gateway address, that was not a typo.

In that field (MMS gateway address), you can also try:

wireless.cingular.com

Let me know if it works, and good luck

Thanks for your help. I always had the colon in the gateway. I just tried the wireless.cingular.com gateway instead of the ip address, but it didn't change anything. I am wondering if I should just do a re-install and see what happens, but my SMS work perfectly and I don't want to screw that up.

It's not even trying to send at all? Yeah, sounds like a bad install. BUT, if you want to re-install, I would go the "hard reset-then-install this app first" route. You may have a conflict somewhere

Correct. It's not even trying to send it. It just goes to the outbox and then sits there. I am afraid that you are correct again regarding a hard reset.

Anybody else here that, at times, does not receive SMS messages using the Palm Messaging application on the Cingular 8525, or am I the only one? I don't see my old SMS folder, so I assume that's not were the missing SMSs are going. I have the latest beta installed. Just for kicks, I changed my SMS registry to old, but then I was not able to send or receive any txt messages, so i changed it back.

I have never had a problem w/the app since the day I installed it.

And just to be safe, whenever UI hard reset my device this is ALWAYS the first thing I install. Before I sync contacts, email etc. I suggest everyone do the same, to avoid conflicts.
