I'm not sure what fustraits me more the lack of info on what Sprint is coming out with or the always present time difference between when these devices are released and when they actually get to the U.S....
I really do wonder why we get the phones last I thought Bill Gates was an American

there's no reason the hd2 can't be both cdma and GSM like pretty much every other windows phone. I don't see how the "bravo" or "passion" can be a substitute for a windows phone when it's android. They just released the Hero, why would they release this phone like 2-3 months later when the last non-kb windows phone they released was over a year and a half ago?

not sure why you think its so far fetched that sprint could get this phone...

Ha! No can do. Sprint has the "Golden Handcuffs" on me as long as I have the SERO package. Total telecom bill for a single month of Sprint SERO service is VERY reasonable, meets our family needs, and gives me unlimited data to play with. Besides, for years now I've successfully resisted the iPhone urge, the G1 urge, Tilt, Imagio, etc. etc. etc. ad nauseum ...

Perhaps I'm just too rational and bottom-line type of person, which is probably why I haven't gone Touch Pro 2 yet. Oh yeah, TP2 still has no FM radio, forgot about that!

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 8.12; MSIEMobile6.0) Sprint T7380)

i know this is crazy thinking and its not likely to ever happen but i would really like to see htc or sprint sell the phone blank...

what i mean is you buy the phone with no os and choose the os (wm web os or droid) you want. i say this because i think everyone is most impressed with the hardware and think allowing people to choose there own os will make this thing a certified beast!

Re: Coming to the United States?

HTC Ruby will be a CDMA Snapdragon (actually a 7630) with a slide out Keyboard.
HTC Spark will be the next HD. There will be a CDMA version.
A Zune-like Tegra based Phone will be the next "Awesome" CDMA device.
Thes eare all just guesses - probably wrong.
We'll know for sure early next year.
