Good news. I hope it comes with Sense 3.0 like the Sensation

I'm not rooting.
I just don't need all the tweaks and hacks. I'm just happy with the fact that I picked the right phone on Sprint. If I wanted to tweak and hack all the time and use workarounds... I would just resurect my TP2. p . |

I will believe it when it is available OTA, but I have been using GB for a while now. Once CM 7 cracked the WiMax nut (officially in the CM6 alphas, but they weren't stable enough for me), I've been a convert.

there's a big difference from having GB & having GB w/ Sense.....
I doubt it will have 3.0, it will probably have 2.0/2.1

Re: Gingerbread (2.3) coming to EVO no later than June
Gingerbread has come a long way in the last few months in the development community so I don't think there will be too big of advantage to having the official release except for people that don't realize its already out there thanks to the developers.

Re: Gingerbread (2.3) coming to EVO no later than June
Many of us are aware of the fact that it's out there... We also know that honeycomb is out there... However not all of us are willing to root our phones in order to gain a couple of months with bugs on the advancement of the software. Especially not us with Gold accounts... Why would I root when I'll have a new phone with the newest software every year?
I got my phone a few months ago... It came with 2.1 a few weeks later...2.2 a couple of months later 2.3... A few months later... New phone. What's the point? To feel like I'm still on WinMo? I'll just mess with my TP2 if I miss the old days. p. |
