If you are rooted, you don't ever want to do an OTA update. Wait for someone to extract the update.zip file and then manually update with recovery. Look around on here or xda for the file, I'm sure it's already been uploaded.

sdk shell. i dont know what that is. all i can get is hboot usb plug to work. dont have much net access since it was all on my phone at this point. i am trying to just get the damned thing to work. sorry it took so long but signals are sucvking and im at a coffee house right now doing this.

can you get in to recovery?

if you rooted with the toast method you should have used this

your going to need to dl the sdk

they shouldnt be able to tell your fone was rooted so you should have no problem rma it

thats a relief. is there a step by step u have to try and get it back to normal? or is it really screwed? and im wasting ur time?
