phone bricked after 3,29 update..
 

was rooted. did update anyways. now phone is stuck on screen with HBOOT screen.
only things that are on this screen are :
HBOOT
FASTBOOT
RECOVERY
CLEAR STORAGE
SIMLOCK
AND HBOOT USB
phone only shows this screen wont install new rom or update or anything. just says this is older than the update.
please help.

doesnt sound rooted to me... how do you know you were rooted?
and what method did you use to root

and at the top of that screen does it show s-off or s-on

s-on. i use setcpu and wifi th\ether so i assume im root. but cant get anywhere. went to sprint store, and they ordered a new one for me on monday. i am trying to get this one to work so that i dont get into trouble using rooted rom. i am sure that clicking on the OTA was not supposed to blow up in my face.
any help is appreciated.

i would say you half root you had superuser from what im reading

but if s-on then that means NAND is still locked

.. so do you want to try to finish root or go back to stock?

tried to go back, but phone is not recognized as a device.
used the second rom to try and get back and no joy.
any other advice?

did you try to pull the battery then see it recognizes the phone
when pull the battery and put in back in does the fone boot up or does it go back to the same screen

boots back to same screen. and cant get older versioin on sd card to work either..

ok so i need to know what root method you used ?

cuz your going to have to try to finish root to fix it

i don t have aclue. it was in august and it had 2 parts. one for partial root and one for full root. dont remember the name. and right now i have no net connection to speak of. i am using internets aroiund my neighborhood to get this done. also my computer does not recognize my phone. even as a simple usb device.
