Evo 4G Available Oct 1~!

I hear from a friend that an email was sent out today saying that the htc Evo 4G will be available for Employees and Advantage Club (turns into Wireless Advantage Premium with the Evo) starting OCT 1!

For RS and 3rd party employees/vendors, it's available now for the EVO and Epic. 30$ unlimited everything. I have the 129.99 w/ 5 lines so switching the main line to that plan won't save me anything which sucks.

acording to the email my advantage club sponser and dan@sprint.com confirmed, the avail date is the end of October.. Then again it was supposed to be avail at launch, so i won't be holding my breath!

I had to get a 20% discount on my bill last week for sprint as a rs employee, how long do I have to work with rs to get the employee plan???

60 days or have sold at least 5 sprint phones on new plans, which ever occurs first is what I was told by our sprint rep. I've been with RS now just over 2 months and have blown past the minimum sales requirement so I'm eligible now.

Only caveat to this is that you have to buy the phone outright (full price) with no subsidizing which sucks. I also took the 20% discount instead because: a) can't afford to pay full price for a phone at the moment, and b) I have 5 lines and adding an employee line won't save me a dime.

not true:

1.st no email was sent
2. The only email was a generic made to send to swacs to tell them it maybe available sometime in October.

I have pushed out A LOT of sprint phones lol but unfortunately my store only gets the upgrade customers so i guess i wait another 4 weeks lol not that bad. Hopefully with my evo ill be able to get on. I have a phone that im happy with at the moment and i always put money aside for when a better phone comes out for me so if i dont want to extend contract i dont have to, thats what i did with my tp2 but the evo was different only because i was broke already lol.

which is not what he is talking about. He said employee's and advantage club... Not sero. And as of right now its not October first. THe message on iconnect says sometime in october. Doesnt get a specific date. I should know I see it every-time I Log into the damn computer when I get to work.
