I feel you yankee, I am also very hesitant to try this method. I also wanted a simple TP2 style method. I am also very nervous about damaging the phone. Though I think I am just going to give this method a go.

Before I get started, a few nOOb questions. After I this method, will I have tethering enabled or do I have to dowload something else? What if I want to load a custom ROM? What are the steps for that after doing this? Thanks for anyone who helps. Sorry for the nOOb questions.

Can I go back to stock in case I need to exchange the phone? Or will it matter at all? Thanks!
