Glad to see some are waiting. While a rooted version will be out very soon, probably by tomorrow, the ability to un-root once this is applied may not come for quite a while, if ever. If I was a developer, I'd put my time into the rooted version, and not waste too much time trying to break the root for those who don't listen and wait. Everyone that applies this has to know that they are risking not being able to ever get wifi tether, or run a host of other useful programs, or change ROM's. And Sprint won't respond to issues like our developers.
Openness was one of the selling points of Android, so why are there so many folks volunteering to be hog-tied by Sprint? |

Chicago...downloading now. No pre-release installed.
