they're probably going to be calling you in the next day or so to let you choose your new plan or cancel the order

I just don't understand why I would need the $10 a month 4G Data Package when they don't even have 4G where I live.

which is also why i'm saying you'll get a call. i've seen this on other phones through radioshack's online system with att smartphones. a website can't cover every contingency so you tell it what you want best fit then the people on the other side figure it out. which is why i'm saying they'll call, they'll probably go ahead and try and activate and when sprint says no, they'll call and see what you wanna do |

Re: Bestbuy.com EVO order with old plan Working!!
Its a "Cool Tax". If you wanna be part of the cool crowd and own an EVO then you have to pay the cool tax. Its only for those of us that want to be "hip" and own the newest technology. lol

Re: Bestbuy.com EVO order with old plan Working!!
I was eventually successful at ordering an EVO for $199 and keeping my old plan of 450min and $15 unlimited data!
Status: 1 item(s) - Order in process of being fulfilled. I guess I'll see if they actually ship it out. I assume the online activation will not work since I'm not on an everything plan, will they still add on the $10 fee? I used a one time virtual credit card so I don't see how they can charge me the $100 instant rebate for not activating it? Should be interesting. I know TheBundo started another thread on this, which has gone into another demension, but I'll be interested in what happens with his deal. My order Shows my 39.99 plan plus $10 Evo fee = $49 Last edited by gullzway; 06-05-2010 at 05:48 PM. |
