Re: Bestbuy.com EVO order with old plan Working!!
I got a call from Best Buy Mobile this afternoon because they couldn't activate the phone, and wound up cancelling my order. Prior to the call from Best Buy, I made constant calls to Sprint about having to switch plans, but they wouldn't budge. Here's the transcript of my second-to-last chat with them if you're interested: http://stupidsprint.pastebin.com/Uis34bKH. I got a call this afternoon from some guy in India, who seemed to have listening comprehension problems (at least in English...) and could not give me an adequate explanation for why I should pay $50/mo more to be able to activate the phone.
(In case anyone's wondering, I asked him "What is your physical location?" and he said he was calling from Sprint eCare. I was like "No, not the name of your department, your physical location." I was about ready to ask for longitude and latitude. =P) |

Re: Bestbuy.com EVO order with old plan Working!!
I ordered a EVO from BB online with my old plan and they called me the next day saying they had a problem cause that line is on a old plan and can't have the evo.I then said i understand this and that when the phone comes i am going to switch that line to a ED1500 plan.
The lady said ok as long as you understand you will not be able to activate it on your current plan. The phone came i sold it on ebay for 450$ and then used that money to buy 2 more from bb to open a ED1500 total cost on those 2 were about 400$ so i payed 600$ total for 3 evo's from best buy and kept 2 which total cost for the pair was 150$ so 75$EA not bad Then wirefly had a sale over the weekend and i ordered another one and opened a new line of service. The cost on it after bing cashback is 110$ but i got to think what to do with that one yet |
