Not trying to be "that guy" but I wanna bump this so everyone has the chance to see it. I really think we'll see a lot more people with the ghost touch goin on.

I have the 0002 Hardware version as well and had this happen really bad to the point where I couldn't do anything. It happened pretty much only when it was plugged into the charger. I blew into the end of the usb cable and where it connects into the phone and the problem went away and hasn't came back since it happened a couple days ago.

Mine does it off charger and on charger. I can replicate it sometimes when squeezing the top half of the device. Makes my weather popup almost everytime.

sounds like the latest ota made it happend i only have that issue in the sms its annoying as hell and i have 0002

my phone is bone stock and i have the same issues after update......whats the solution??? return it to Sprint?

No everyone having same issues afther the ota so it can be fix either way u get another evo u will have same issue since the update
