The longest it has taken for Handbrake to convert a movie was one hour. Have you tried uninstalling and restalling. I've had to do that myself but I'm on a Mac so I'm not sure if you are using a PC or not and if there is a difference.

Lol true but I was thinking that maybe you were trying to convert another format that was already on your harddrive, sorry. Anyway if the dvd is encrypted then handbrake won't work on its own. You would need to use another program to decrypt the dvd. Personally, while using decryption software, I have had a few dvds that didn't work at all so try a different dvd and see what happens.

do ur self a favor. EASIEST/FASTEST ripper/converter. does a complete 90+ min movie in less than a hour. tv shoes in liek 20 min. depends on settings. has built in android setting or manually adjust them. i just stick it on nexus one and hit go.

I just upgraded from the older 5.x version. I like that 6.x has the CUDA support and my video card is supported. Not sure if it really is much faster, but my CPU usage on my quad core has sure dropped w/the GPU taking more of the load.

I just ripped with Xilisoft and the audio and video did not sync. It was off by about 1 second, and I used the Nexxus1 setting. BTW, it was a star wars movie that I own. Any advice?

i neva had sync issues with xilisoft. try doing a fresh reboot and runnin the software alone. u might need all ur cpu power 2 get it right.
