How to put a DVD on EVO

I have Avy DVD software, do i need to ripp the movie first then put on evo or do I need to change the format? Should I put the movie on the SD card or the actual phone? Thanx

personally i'd rip it to avi and put it on sd card. then use the 'videos' app to watch it.

Download handbrake which works well with Any DVD, it rips and converts at the same time. The movie will go on the sd card not the actual phone. When its done the video will probably be a little over 1gb in size if you go for optimal quality. Follow this link: http://www.knowyourcell.com/htc/htc-...tc_evo_4g.html

I converted mine in to mp4 format first then send to card

Im not feeling Handbreak it taken 4 hours to just scan The Legends of the fall.

LMAO, 4 hours? Holy Sh.....!!!!! When ripping and converting my dvd's the longest it has ever taken me was about an hour and 45 minutes.

I havent made it that far, for some reason it hasnt ever made it past scanning let alone ripping.

Wait a minute are you trying to convert a dvd? Are you using any other software with it?

The longest it has taken for Handbrake to convert a movie was one hour. Have you tried uninstalling and restalling. I've had to do that myself but I'm on a Mac so I'm not sure if you are using a PC or not and if there is a difference.
