Open source god damn it! Let me do what ever I want with it! If you want other wise, try LauncherPro, it's free in beta. Better as well. Really customizable. I put it on my father's Droid and got jealous. I made it soooo sleek looking. :) For walls, check out this thread HERE. Page 2 has a bunch of walls, some by me. Page 1 has some as well, but the bulk are on 2. |
Re: EVO 4G Update - Lost Android Wallpapers??
I use the flat black wallpaper, less clutter, and figure it might save a little battery by not having bright colors

Re: official Evo upgrade list(what changes were made)
I'm not to sure I'll ever use that, at least for now. It sure isn't worth breaking anything else for. I wonder what happens in my present config? Perhaps the same menu pops up from somewhere when you connect it........

Phone not updating
I know there's a new OTA update out but for some reason, my phone is saying I'm up to date. I had rooted but unrooted by flashing back to stock rom: RUU_Supersonic_1.32.651.6_Radio_1.39.00.05.31_rele ase_171253_signed
Current software information on my phone: Firmware: 2.1-update1 Baseband: 1.39.00.05.31 Kernel: 2.6.29-12443432 htc-kernel@and18-2#1 Build #: 1.32.651.6 cl171253 release-keys Software: 1.32.651.6 Browser: Webkit 3.1 PRI Version: 1.40_003 PRL: 60667 Does my software version look normal? Thanks |
Re: Phone not updating
Stop trying until the bugs are worked out. Many people bricked their phones today before Sprint pulled the update
|
Re: Phone not updating
My phone wouldn't update yesterday. Sprint has actually pulled the update though now due to phone bricking so nothing to worry about. They will have another update soon I imagine.

Re: did the new OTA break your EVO?
Where is the auto update switch? Mine must be off, but now I can't find it to verify.

Re: OTA Update removes android wallpapers, breaks shootme, disallows Android 2.1 laun
I complained to Sprint Tech Support about HTC removing Android launcher. It would be like HTC removing Titanium from WM phones. So basically we are stuck in HTC Sense forever. I don't like that. I'm waiting for a fix. Its things like this that make people ROOT their phones.
